Hernia

A hernia is a disease or disorder caused when an internal organ or other body part shapes out through a weak spot in the surrounding area. It occurs when an internal organ or other body part extends beyond or above the limiting surface through the wall of muscle or tissue that normally surrounds it. The major symptom is the bulging of the affected area. This protrusion is extremely painful on gradual prolongation.

Abdominal Hernia: The bulging of the muscles or tissues subjected to the abdominal cavity. This is the most occurring hernia in both men and women. However, most of the different types of hernias are almost all linked to the abdomen, either lower abdomen or upper abdomen, or center of the abdomen.
